This panel would explore themes in photographic and cinematic representation of the region. Deconstructing frames to reveal a historic narrative that has been imposed on the region over the past century. We will discuss certain repetitions, debate about famous images, invite the crowd to participate. Next we will break into separate groups for an activity, and come together at the end to discuss and compare thoughts.
