Abstract

Mr. Borchert was an engineer who worked on the Manhattan Project in Chicago during WWII. He was an employee of Houdaille-Hershey. Collection consists mainly of newspapers and clippings concerning the development of atomic energy, the bomb, etc. Also memos, certificates, and items relating to auxiliary fireman.
