Abstract
These items include materials from the Department of Athletics at Marshall University from approximately 1966-1978. Items were received in the 1990s and include the Athletic Player Files from members of the 1971 Young Thundering Herd Football team as a result of the 1970 plane crash. These were the individuals who helped rebuild the team in the season that followed the tragedy. Please download the finding aid for a full list of contents in this specific collection.
