Pen and ink sketch of Civil War artillery battery by Norman Price for Liberty Magazine, late 1920's, titled "Operator #13", b&w on board Price was born in Ontario in 1877, studied in London and Paris. Died in 1951. Note with sketch states: appeared in Liberty Magazine in the late 1920's in a story by Robt. W. Chambers entitled "Operator #13." Operator 13 was later a Civil War spy movie, where a female spy was known by that name.
