Description
Photo of a page with the signature of James E. Morrow, and the Latin quote "To the stars, through difficulties," 1872. b&w. The Latin phrase is intreperted as "To the stars, through difficulties (hardships)" The date, June 13, 1872 may have been Morrow's last day as principal at Marshall College, and this may have been an entry in an autograph album. This was also the inscription on the Apollo 1 spacecraft.
