Description
Guyandotte C&O Railroad bridge, Jan. 1913, b & w The bridge collapsed New Years Day, 1913, after C&O train No. 99 crashed through the center span. Engineer Charles "Shorty" Webber and six bridge workers were killed. High water with logs undermined the falsework (temporary bridge supports.)
