Biography
My name is Trina Rogers of Dunbar, WV. I am twenty-two years old and a second-year senior at Marshall University. I will be graduating with a communication studies degree with an emphasis in organizational communications. This study will examine the behaviors and frequent patterns to truly say that technology influences face to face interactions. This directly relates to me, as I am a hands-on type of learner. Engaging in personal interactions through face to face communication has always been important in expanding knowledge and building connections with people.

Abstract
This study analyzes the communication styles using different types of technology. More specifically, how these types of technology may create problems within face to face communication. The study will be conducted through an online based survey analysis. The goal of this study is to increase knowledge about how people have become dependent on technology and the way this technology has effected face to face communication in our society.
