Abstract
Self-confidence and self-esteem have long been thought ta be key factors in the successful achievement of career goals. Same of the areas that society use as measures of success are achievement in school, maintaining a jab, and financial independence. Conversely, law self-esteem has been associated with failure ta achieve in school, the inability to maintain a jab, and dependence an others for support. In addition certain anti-social behaviors manifested in delinquency, substance abuse and destructive behaviors have been associated with law self-concept (Brill, Crumpton~ Grayson , 1971; Krug~ Henry ,1974; Hur lock ,1967) .
