Label on back reads: Lucy Rutherford, Warm Springs, 4/11/45 (Their affair was prior to 1918, when it was discovered by Eleanor Roosevelt. Lucy visited Franklin Delano Roosevelt at the White House when he was president and was with him when he died. She was married to Winthrop Rutherford.) (Roosevelt was president from 1933–1945.) This set of roosevelt photos are from Jean Ed. Smith's files and papers used for his book on Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
