Description
On January 5, 1871, Lacy preached the funeral sermon for John McElhenney, his friend and fellow minister. The sermon was published in the Appendix to Recollections of the Rev. John McElhenney, D.D. (Richmond, VA: Whittet & Shepperson, 1893), a volume compiled by McElhenney's granddaughter, Rose W. Fry.
