Abstract
This is an analysis of the supports and barriers that minorities experience in becoming and working as academic librarians. Information is presented about the perceptions that minority librarians have about being minority librarians and their contributions, if any, to campus diversity. Data is discussed that covers the factors that minority librarians perceive contribute to the small number of minority academic librarians.
