Remembrance: A Journal of Queer Culture, Information, and Preservation is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to all aspects of collecting, remembering, and recording queer lives and cultures. We welcome analytical, theoretical, and empirical studies from fields including literature, history, archival studies, and library science. As an interdisciplinary journal, we aim to publish articles that promote dialogue among disciplines, thus reinvigorating existing knowledge systems and structures.
Articles are published immediately upon final acceptance, and bundled into issues twice a year. As an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal, published by Marshall Digital Scholar, we are committed to publication and distribution policies that are open, inclusive, and equitable.Authors retain the copyright to their work, and after it has appeared in Remembrance they may publish it in any form they wish as long as the Remembrance is acknowledged as the original source. Authors have the option of publishing their work under a Creative Commons license, but they are not required to do so.
See the Call for Submissions page for detailed information on submitting to our forthcoming, inaugural issue.
