This collection contains copies of two letters written by Morgan possibly to his cousin Lydia in 1891 and 1892 related to family matters, including daily life, farming, and marriage. Also included is the envelope for the 1892 letter addressed to James J. Casey of Huntington, WV. Other materials in the collection are copies of Ivory Soap advertisements, possibly an envelope that contained the letters. Given that these materials are copies, legibility varies.
Special collections material is obtained from many sources and is intended primarily for research and educational purposes. Certain works may be protected by copyright, trademark, or related interests not governed by the department.
