0888: West Virginia Activists, Stories of Social Change Poster Collection

This poster collection was generated by a 2016 Graduate Humanities Program team-taught seminar by Step by Step Director Michael Tierney and Graduate Humanities Program Director Luke Eric Lassiter. The seminar engaged students and local community organizers and other leaders in a collaborative documentary project to produce posters and other media on individual changemakers in southern West Virginia. The posters were organized as a traveling exhibit that opened in April 2016 on the MU Graduate College campus in South Charleston, and then traveled to various sites throughout West Virginia until 2020. The full exhibit is now archived and stored at University Libraries in Huntington, West Virginia.
