0455: Brigadier General Chuck Yeager Collection, 1923-1987

Letter in which Bennet H. Horchler, Executive Vice President of the Institute of the Aeronautical Sciences, notifies Chuck Yeager of his appreciation of a lecture regarding the X-1 program. The letter says that Yeager's lecture was well received, and was a popular event as more were present than there were seats available. A $20 dollar check was included in this letter to reimburse Yeager for expenses.
