Harris Harris Hall, on Third Avenue on the north side of Marshall University's campus, was completed in 1976 and named in honor of Arvil Ernest Harris, a political science and social studies professor who served as Dean of the Graduate School from 1948 to 1964. The History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Classics departments are all located within Harris. PhD, 1936, Univ of Iowa
