Description
Small Confederate flag, modified 1st National pattern, ca. 1861-62. Sewn cotton. Appraiser Rafael Eledge sttated it was made in late 1861 or early 1862, due to type of blue cloth. Rosanna Blake stated it was found in New Orleans when Union Army occupied city. Also called the "11-star pattern"
