Description
Harry Wright and Chester Owens in the Guyan River at Guyandotte, W.Va., Mar. 1915, b&w Back reads: Snapshot takein in 1915, in Guyan River at Guyandotte. Boy in front is Harry Wright, now professor of speech at Kent State Univ, Ohio. Boy in rear is Chester C. Owens. Picture taken in March, 1915. Prof. Harry Wright & Chester C. Owens are both deceased, both families were early settlers of Guyandotte. (Note large log raft beside boys. Logs were cut in Logan County and floated down the Guyan to its mouth at Guyandotte.)
