College of Liberal Arts' Annual Research and Creativity Conference
This conference showcases the exceptional scholarly and creative work of our students. The mission of the College is to develop in Marshall University students the analytic and creative skills that will allow them to examine the many artifacts of human behavior in order to better appreciate and respect the unique qualities of being human.
The COLA Research and Creativity conference will seek proposals for next year's Conference soon. Submissions can be original scholarly work related to any field in the liberal arts. They can be analyses of original data, creative works, or original analyses of existing data. Examples include works of creative poetry or nonfiction, historical or political analyses using a variety of methods, analyses of literature, and empirical studies of human behavior. The presentation format can either be a Poster, Paper (in a panel), or Forensic presentation. Abstract submissions should provide a clear idea of the content and findings, if any, of the presentation and should be no longer than 250 words.
