Description

This is an interview about fake news, information literacy, the Black Lives Matter movement, and social media with Massachusetts Participant 1 (White/Non-binary/19), interviewed on October 18, 2021. The participant agreed to the terms as outlined in the informed consent form proceeding this interview. Some of the topics discussed in the interview were the websites the participant used to access news, the participant’s feelings regarding algorithms used online, and the participant’s opinions on fake news. Dr. Stephen Underhill was the primary investigator for this project.
