Description

This interview covers information literacy and fake news in modern media with West Virginia Participant (Cajun/Male/73), and was conducted on October 16, 2023. The participant verbally stated that they had read through and agreed to the consent document forms associated with the interview. The broad topics covered throughout this interview include social media discussion, news media discussion, politics, and fake news. Further specification of topics covered would be the Ukranian and Russian war, the Hamas and Israel Conflict, modern mainstream news services, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. This was a group-collaborative project conducted in a first-year seminar class with an emphasis in fake news and information literacy, taught by Dr. Stephen Underhill.
