Additional Recommendations
Language & Grammar
All submissions must be in English. Except for common foreign words and phrases or those defined within the zine, the use of foreign words and phrases should be avoided.
Authors should use standard English language and grammar, unless use of dialect is supported by the content of the zine.
Zine Length
Because this journal publishes electronically, page limits are not as relevant as they are in the world of print publications. We generally prefer zines of ten 8.5 x 11 pages or less. This said, authors may use their discretion with respect to length.
Colored text
We encourage authors to take advantage of the ability to use color, however, please appreciate that this may cause accessibility issues for some readers. For this reason, you are advised to avoid low contrast colors in situations where legibility may be impacted.
Please ensure that there are no colored mark-ups or comments in the final version, unless they are meant to be part of the final text.
Citation Style Guides
Authors should select their preferred style guide for citations. Please be as comprehensive as possible with the information provided in each citation to ensure reviewers and readers can locate the works cited.
