This collection is an artificially created collection of photographs of individuals, groups, buildings, locations, and activities of the Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia tri-state region that the Marshall University Archives and Special Collections Department has accumulated over time. Items are foldered by subject or provenance where known. Topics of interest include the 1913 and 1937 floods, river and railroad scenes, and local businesses among many other subjects.

Large panoramic view of Huntington during a flood, purpoted to be the flood of 1884. Notes on front identify the various buildings in downtown Huntington, including the Harris Bldg, which note says was burned in 1905. That would lead you to believe it has to be the 1884 flood, but it could be the 1913 flood.
