Marshall's IBM 1620 computer system, ca. 1968 : b&w. (dates on clippings, etc in folder marked "Computers" dated 1968 about the 1620.)Folder located in box in archives marked "Parthenon Morgue." IBM 1620 was announced in 1959 and discontinued from marketing in 1970. It used programs in both SPS and FORTRAN. Marshall had the computer at least as early as 1965.

Orginally built by the Kroger company for use as a grocery store, the building was used for storage and for engineering classes ca. 1960-1967. Located between 18th and 19th streets on Fifth ave, it is the present (2009) site of Twin Towers dormitories.

MU James E. Morrow Library, ca. 1966. 1 photograph : b & w ; 21 x 26 cm. The library was built in 1930 and served as the main library until 1998, when the new John Deaver Drinko Library opened. The building now (2009) houses several specialized library collections as well as various non-related campus units. This photo is right before the two wings were constructed.
