Milen Parashkevov, guitar

Dr. Milen Parashkevov was born in 1973 in Shumen, Bulgaria, where he started playing the guitar at age of 10. He received the BMA in Guitar Performance from Mozarteum-Salzburg, Austria, and both the MMA and the DMA from Texas Tech University. A prizewinner of several international guitar performance and guitar composition competitions in the US, Canada, and Europe, Dr. Parashkevov is strongly interested in collaborating with non-guitarist composers, encouraging them to compose for the guitar. He is a faculty member at Campbell University, in North Carolina and his guitar works are published by the prestigious Bèrben Edizioni musicali in Ancona, Italy.
