About the Soloists:

Young People's Concert Competition winner Annâan Karimpour is a sophomore at St. Joseph Central Catholic High School. A clarinet student of Robert Turizziani, he was winner of the 2017 West Virginia Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, and received a Vaughan Fellowship from the West Virginia Symphony. This summer he will participate in NYO2, a selective national summer music program founded by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute
