Description
These small booklets were included in cigarettes manufactured by the Duke Tobacco Co., in the 1880’s. The attractive booklet contained a color lithograph on the cover, a signature facsimile and a short biography of the Civil War general. The company produced these for 25 Confederate generals and 25 Union generals. Ca. 1885, Blake CDV file, 16 pages, 7 x 4 cm closed, 7 x 7.5 open.
