Abstract
The Laidley family papers (1834-1944) consist of holograph and typescript histories of the Laidley, Beuhring, Brown and other early families of Cabell County, West Virginia; correspondence with descendants of the original trustees of Marshall Academy; and several holograph histories, including a history of Barboursville, West Virginia, on letterhead of W. S. Laidley.
