Abstract

This collection is comprised of materials, recording the achievements and honors of Dr. Charles A. Hoffman, M.D.

Included in the collection are certificates, diplomas, awards, and citations, given to Dr. Hoffman for his outstanding service to the medical profession and to his community. Of interest are two gold medals, presented to Dr. Hoffman for his service as president of both the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association. The collection also includes copies of Dr. Hoffman’s numerous speeches, delivered before various medical, professional and community groups. Most of these were given while he was president of the American Medical Association. There is also an interesting group of memorabilia, representing the wide recognition given to Dr. Hoffman.
