Matthew H. Brittingham is a fourth year PhD candidate at Emory University, studying American Jewish history in the Graduate Division of Religion. He specializes in popular religious discourses and Yiddish-language print culture during the period of mass immigration from Eastern Europe and the early post-immigrant period (ca. 1880-1930).
