"The Widow’s Finances," based on 1 Kings 17:8-16, is the 5th sermon in Voices from Templed Hills (Parkersburg, WV: Baptist Banner Publishing Co., 1927). At the time of its publication, Shontz was the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Beckley, West Virginia.
