This part of the Guide provides information about Tinker's sermons. It includes the title, scripture text, date and place the sermon was preached (if known), and so on. This information is available in the master list of sermons as well.

This volume was published posthumously, but work on it apparently began while Tinker was still alive. Some of the 30 sermons in the book were selected by Tinker himself; others were chosen “by a judicious committee to whom he referred the task, with full authority to act as their discretion might direct them” (p. 1).
