Abstract
These items include materials from the University Libraries at Marshall University from 1920-1975. Items were created by an unknown Library employee likely sometime in the 1970s or 1980s but this collection was not "known" to anyone in the library until it was accessioned in 2024. Items were in a box labeled "propaganda" and likely serves as a Vertical File for various research topics that extends outside the university and its history. Although not something normally kept in the Archives, this demonstrates a way that someone would have done research in a time prior to the Internet. Please download the finding aid for a full list of contents.
