Abstract

These items include materials from the College of Education and Professional Development at Marshall University from 1949-1978. Items were received in 1984 and were processed in 2026. The "Art Department" is now housed under the College of Arts and Media but was located within the College of Education when we received this collection, likely from a faculty member who cross-taught between Ed and Art. Items in this collection include art shows from graduate students and Kappa Pi, additionally included is some work from Marion Vest Fors (professor at Marshall). There's some curriculum material listed, an outline for the manual of arts in public schools, a folder from the chair from 1937-1961 Joseph Jablonski, and Art in WV.
