These items include materials from the various offices at at Marshall University from 1970-1991 and comprise of items from or about the Marshall University Plane Crash tragedy that occurred on November 14, 1970. Items were received in 2008 and include notable materials regarding the aircraft accident report with Southern Airways, Faculty Bulletins or announcements to include memos sent to faculty; Memorial programs; the last official game program; Herald-Dispatch newspaper issues from November 15, 1970; Telegrams received; letters from acting President of Marshall, Donald Dedmon; time and date for the unidentified six players (Thomas Wayne Brown, Kevin Gilmore, David Griffith, Barry Winston Nash, Allen Skeens, and Thomas Jonathan Zborill).
