WVLA’s Spring Fling 2019 will be held on April 4 and 5, 2019 at The Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa, One Lakeview Drive, Morgantown, WV 26508.

You will be able to access and revise your proposal after it is submitted.

Our theme is “Library Magic: Working Smarter, Not Harder”. We are seeking proposals for sessions that showcase how libraries and library staff make library magic happen. Examples are: unique partnerships and outside the box thinking, ways you and your staff have found to work smarter, not harder. If you have any suggestions for groups, organizations, or performers you would like to see at Spring Fling please email Beth Anderson at beth.anderson@clark.lib.wv.us. As always Thursday will be focused on the library as a whole, while Friday will focus on hands-on children’s, early literacy and young adult activities, programs and ideas.

Presenters will be notified in late January regarding the status of their submissions.

*You will be able to have access and revise your proposal after it is submitted.

Presenters should be available for scheduling at any time during Spring Fling. It is not possible to guarantee any session or participant a particular day or time on the program.

Note: Individuals named in accepted proposals are not automatically registered for the conference. ALL conference attendees must register and pay the conference registration fee prior to attending the conference.

Please direct any questions regarding online session submissions to Gretchen Beach, beachg@marshall.edu and direct all general questions regarding the conference as or sessions to Beth Anderson, beth.anderson@clark.lib.wv.us.
