Description

On June 17th, 1949, Charles Yeager presented a lecture to test pilots regarding the flight text program on the X-1. The letter says that Yeager's lecture had a "tremendous impression" on the test pilots both for his knowledge of the program and the field. Written by the Commander of the Naval Air Force Test Center to the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force.
