Untold Stories from Rowan County, Kentucky: The Long Road to Marriage Equality This video documents the untold stories from Rowan County, Kentucky. The video includes documentation of events that occurred in Rowan County surrounding County Clerk Kim Davis’s refusal grant marriage licenses. It includes interviews with those involved in the journey to marriage equality in Rowan County. Interviewees include Nashia Fife, head of the Rowan County Rights Coalition, Danielle Wheeler representing Allyance , April Miller and Jody Fernandez (plaintiffs in the Rowan Co, suit), and Tim Love (plaintiff in the case that made marriage equality law in the United States). The video includes interviews with Rowan Co. residents, politicians, clergy, and journalists who covered the events. This video documents the healing process of a community that has been torn apart by the internationally renowned events of 2015. The video concludes with documentation of the weddings of Tim Love, David Moore and David Ermold and April Miller and Karen Roberts. The untold story ends happily ever after.
