Abstract

"Choosing Sleep: Love in Death" is a braided essay that discusses the ethical struggle of euthanizing a pet, predominantly drawing on my own memories and experiences. The focus is centered around my own dogs, the death of one and the adoption of the other, and how they have affected by perception of putting an animal "to sleep."
