Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the different types of and levels of student engagement in different types of online classes. The survey will measure agentic, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement in asynchronous classes, synchronous classes, HyFlex classes, and BlendFlex classes. The research is conducted by survey of students who have experienced at least one of these types of classes.
