Abstract
The Attachment and Personality Dynamics Questionnaire (APDQ) is a psychometrically sound instrument, with an average alpha level of .80, for measuring attachment styles. The purpose of the present study was to examine the correlations between psychopathology as measured by the MMPI-2 and relationship dynamics using the APDQ. It was found that the APDQ successfully predicted elevations in 9 of the 10 MMPI-2 clinical scales.
