Abstract
Nutrition education has become an integral part of the dietitian's responsibilities. By definition, this involves the method by which beliefs, attitudes, environmental influences, and understandings about food lead to practices that are scientifically sound, practical, and consistent with individual needs. Nutrition education should be available to individuals and families regardless of income, location, or cultural, social, or economic practices or level of education.
