Welcome to this special issue on “Medicare Inclusion of Counselors: Preparing the Counseling Workforce to Serve Older Adults.” This collection of five articles highlights the critical role of counselors in addressing the unique needs of our aging population. As we explore the integration of counseling services into Medicare, we aim to equip our workforce with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide compassionate and effective care to older adults.
