The Sunrise Review is a solar-powered, ecomusical practice of Graham Smith-White. Dubbed "West Virginia's Solar Musician" by West Virginia Public Broadcasting, Graham uses The Sunrise Review to highlight environmental and conservation issues, foster nature appreciation and demonstrate the viability of solar energy and energy efficiency. Music, Goodness and the Environment is a multi-media presentation of Graham's musical adventures in the backcountry for The Sunrise Review, featuring live performances, music recordings, stories, videos and photographs. From honoring the land and water of Appalachia and serenading conservation workers in National Parks to the journey of becoming a Certified B-Corporation by supporting people and place with music, Music, Goodness and the Environment will explore a professional creative practice dedicated to sustainability minded expression and leaving things better than they were found. Musically, The Sunrise Review draws inspiration from nature while mixing diverse musical styles from around the world, including Americana, Middle Eastern and Classical Indian, into a blend of original instrumental creations, recorded in natural settings. www.solarpoweredmusic.com

Graham Smith-White is a pizza enthusiast whose life focuses on the intersection of music, activism and adventure. Graham is involved with the WV Sierra Club, co-founded the Fair Trade Music initiative and serves as Dean of Awesome for the West Virginia Awesome Foundation. Go Solar!
