This workshop is a brief introduction to the ArcGIS program - a powerful computer mapping and analysis tool used by many government agencies, private businesses, and other organizations. During the session, attendees will gain a basic understanding of the ArcGIS platform and how to create maps using data from the Appalachian Regional Commission website. No prior experience using the program is required and we specifically invites those who have never worked with the program before.
