Abstract

The office of the Presidency has always followed a traditional mold when referring to the rhetoric of which the president uses. I will discuss how this rhetoric, which has been the template for both Republicans and Democrats throughout the modern era of the office. However, I argue that since the Inauguration of President Trump this mold has been broken, showing ultimately providing evidence to show that President Trump has become the "Nontraditional President". Ultimately, I will explain how President Trump has diminished the office of the President from a rhetorical standpoint.
