Abstract
Reality Television has been around for the past 48 years and has increasingly became more political in its nature. Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered in 2007 and the family has since become a Matriarchal Empire that touches on sensitive topics that are often overlooked. In this paper, I will seek to explore how feminism has plaid a role in the Kardashian families success and the political repercussions they dodge in very unique ways. Additionally, I will be examining the relation between this constructed reality in regards to Capitalism and Neoliberalism.
