Abstract

University administrators are perpetually faced with decisions regarding the readmission of students dismissed for academic failure. The complexity of the problem has discouraged formal research in the area. Initial identification difficulty, divergent course work requirement variances of different colleges, personality variables and differences of ability add to the complexity of the problem.
