Abstract

Individual differences and group differences in scholastic performance are increasingly important areas of concern in classroom teaching, school guidance, psychological counseling, as well as in parent-student educational and vocational planning. With the current surge of technical and professional specialization there is a need for increased understanding of how individuals and groups differ in academic performance and the factors closely related to such differences.
